Hull City have had their fair share of players that have been impressive so far in this year's campaign, as they once looked set to challenge for a top-six finish.

But the departures of influential wingers Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen have made that task of finishing inside the top-six an extremely tough ask.

Grant McCann's side are now sat 14th in the Championship table, and are ten points adrift of the play-off positions, which will be frustrating to see for the club's supporters.

They'll be hoping they can find a much-needed win when they return to action on Tuesday evening to take on Blackburn Rovers, in what is likely to be a tricky test for the Tigers.

We're going to take a look at a Hull City 5-a-side team that is made up of the current crop of players that McCann has available to him this season.

Find out who makes the cut on the next page....

Long has been Hull's first-choice goalkeeper this season, and is a certain starter in their 5-a-side team.

He has made some costly errors for the Tigers this term though, and will know that he has to improve on recent performances if he is to retain his place in their squad.

He's a stronger and more reliable option to have between the posts than Matt Ingram is though, so it's a relatively simple choice for the goalkeeping position in this team.

De Wijs has been one of Hull's star performers this season, and nGrant McCann will be hoping that the defender can return from injury at the earliest of opportunities.

He averages a Whoscored rating of 7.07, which is the third highest in the Hull squad so far this season. Jarrod Bowen averages higher, with Brandon Fleming being ahead of de Wijs, although the youngster has recently headed out on loan recently after making just four appearances for the Tigers this term.

So, de Wijs is clearly a player with a bright future ahead of him, and he's easily one of Hull's best defenders at the moment.

Irvine has been hugely impressive and has become somewhat of 'Mr Reliable' in the centre of midfield, with the threat he carries at both ends of the pitch for the Tigers.

There will be more expectation on the Australian midfielder to add more goals to his name with both Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen leaving the club in the January transfer window.

But Irvine is one of Hull's top performers this season, which is impressive given that he has featured significantly more than the likes of Kevin Stewart.

Maddison only signed for Hull during the January transfer window, but he's already showing promising signs in Grant McCann's squad.

The winger struck the post and was a constant threat in his first league start against Reading last weekend, and will be hoping he can build on this strong performance.

Maddison netted nine goals and was on hand to provide six assists earlier this season for League One side Peterborough United, so it's clear to see that he's a player with real talent.

It's fair to say that the striking position is one that Grant McCann often has a dilemma over.

Tom Eaves has often been the first-choice striker in the Hull squad, but he hasn't been at his consistent best for much of this year's campaign, which will be frustrating to see.

But he's been a better option than Josh Magennis in the Hull team this season, and he'll lead the line in this team.

He has four goals to his name this season, and edges Magennis out of this 5-a-side team because of that goal tally.
