The tussle between Sheffield United and Leeds for that final automatic promotion place has been utterly fascinating so far this season.

Just when you think one of them has taken command of the situation, there is yet another twist.

That is what happened last weekend as Chris Wilder's Blades fell further behind Leeds.

A late Millwall equaliser at Brammall Lane coupled with a 1-0 win for Leeds against Sheffield Wednesday meant they opened up a three-point cushion.

Wilder will be desperate to bounce back against Forest but some troubling injury news could put a spanner in the works.

Billy Sharpe and Chris Basham will both miss the Easter weekend clashes with injuries whilst John Egan begins his three-match ban for that deliberate hand-ball against Millwall.

With all of that in mind, here is how they SHOULD line up for the clash with Martin O'Neill's side.

Henderson will of course start in goal but defensive absentees should force Wilder into a rethink.

His favoured 3-5-2 formation is heavily reliant on the three centre-backs and with two out, reverting to a flat back four would be wise.

A diamond should be employed in midfield in order to allow the fullbacks to bomb on as they are so good at doing, made up of Coutts, Norwood, Fleck and Duffy.

With Sharp out injured Wilder should also opt to replace him with Scott Hogan.

His goalscoring record is not as good as Gary Madine's but the McGoldrick-Sharp dynamic has been impressive and stylistically, Hogan is the closest to being able to replicate that.
