Bristol City fans are bound to be amongst the most excited about the return of Championship football next weekend as the international break finishes.

Whilst the likes of Sheffield United are getting the plaudits for being the surprise of the season so far, it should be argued that what Bristol City have done so far is no less impressive.

Indeed, Lee Johnson's men are playing a fantastic brand of attacking football with plenty of young stars taking the lead and we think that he'll be looking to add to that culture when it comes to the January window.

With that in mind, then, we've been thinking about young, attacking signings that the Robins could get after and Tariqe Fosu at Charlton immediately springs to mind.

The Addicks star has seven goals to his name so far this season with Charlton looking good to challenge for the play-offs at the very least in League One.

They'll be concerned that some of their stars could leave before the end of the campaign, though, and most chiefly it could be Fosu.

A goal-scoring midfielder is always something clubs challenging for honours need to have and if the Robins are still in and around the play-offs in January, they need to be bold.

Indeed, this could be their best chance of promotion with some of their top players bound to be attracting interest themselves and so a big move for Fosu, and a few others, could make them an even more enjoyable team to watch.
