Leeds United will be one of the favourites for the title this season and under the management of Marcelo Bielsa, they are showing little signs of slowing in momentum heading into the festive period.

The Whites are currently 2nd in the table and will be keen to keep up the pressure on league-leaders Norwich City who are just a point clear of Bielsa's side.

But with a growing injury list, Leeds supporters have every reason to be concerned heading into the festive fixtures which could potentially define their season.

Leeds have been known to 'tail off' after January, but with Marcelo Bielsa in charge at Elland Road, it's unlikely that he will let the performance levels of his players drop anytime soon.

The Leeds boss could be tempted to freshen things up in January with a number of players seemingly down the pecking order at the club.

Find out which Leeds outcast's should be eyeing a move elsewhere here....

The 22-year-old Irishman made nine appearances last season for Leeds and impressed for the Whites before picking up an injury.

But Shaughnessy has struggled for form in the Leeds under 23's side this season and even with Leeds' injury problems in the centre of defence, he is yet to feature this season.

Aapo Halme is seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order and he should be eyeing a loan move away from Elland Road in January to get regular first-team experience.

The young left-back has been limited with first-team opportunities this season and has only made two substitute appearances for Bielsa's side.

Even with the injury crisis in defence at Elland Road, he is still yet to make a start for the promotion chasing Whites.

Pearce could be tempted with a loan move elsewhere to further his development in the early stages of his career.
