Leeds United youngsters Jamie Shackleton, Alfie McCalmont, Robbie Gotts and Jordan Stevens all attended the premiere of 'Take Us Home' last night.

The six-part documentary series - which is due to launch on Amazon Prime Video on Friday - tells the story of the Leeds' remarkable first season under Marcelo Bielsa, which saw the team just miss out on promotion from the Championship.

Several Leeds players and special guests attend the event last night - including youngsters Shackleton, McCalmont, Gotts and Stevens.

Leeds posted a photo of the quartet at the event last night on the club's official Instagram story, comparing them to the famous boy band One Direction, as they posed for photographs on the red carpet.

Shackleton was able to establish himself in the first team at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa last season, making 24 appearances for the Whites in all competitions.

McCalmont made his first-team debut for Leeds in Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, when he came off the bench in the 3-0 win at Salford City.

Gotts is yet to make his senior debut for the Whites, but has been included in the matchday squad on several occasions and was a key player for Leeds' under-23 side last season.

Stevens joined Leeds from Forest Green Rovers in January 2018 and has made one first-team appearance for the Whites, coming off the bench in the 2-1 defeat at Stoke in the Championship last season.

The Verdict

Leeds have got some very talented young players on their books and all four of these players could have big futures ahead of them at Elland Road - even if they look like they're destined for a career in music in this particular photo.

Shackleton was able to establish himself in the first team for Leeds last season and I'm sure the other three players here will all be hoping to follow in his footsteps.

Hopefully watching the documentary will give them extra hunger and motivation to keep working hard, in the hope that they'll be given opportunities in the first-team in the future.
