Nottingham Forest midfielder James Garner has taken to his personal Instagram account to issue a message to Forest supporters following the confirmation of his loan move from Manchester United.
It has been a difficult start to the campaign for Chris Hughton’s side with the Reds having suffered four successive defeats in the Championship.
Therefore the confirmation from the Reds on Sunday that they had managed to agree a deal with Manchester United to re-sign Garner on a season-long loan from Manchester United will be a major boost for them.
The 20-year-old had put pen to paper on a new contract with Manchester United before his loan to the City Ground was sanctioned.
That comes after the midfielder delivered a string of excellent performances during his loan spell with Nottingham Forest in the second half of last season.
There had been interest in Garner from a number of other Championship clubs, with the likes of Sheffield United and Stoke City amongst the clubs to have been linked with a potential loan swoop for the 20-year-old.

Re-signing Garner is huge for Nottingham Forest and the transfer should potentially inject some positivity around the City Ground after a very challenging start to the Championship campaign for the Reds.
The concern would have been that after losing their first four matches in the league, Nottingham Forest might have been unable to convince the midfielder to re-sign for them and be part of a side that might struggle in the English second tier this term.
However, Garner would have seen the impact that he made on Nottingham Forest last season with his arrival in the January window. Over the course of a full season the 20-year-old might be able to get the Reds playing well enough to recover their form and push up towards the top half of the table.
Garner is going to get regular game time with Nottingham Forest and the midfielder is likely to be relied upon to take a lot of responsibility in possession and try and make things happen for them. That should mean that the 20-year-old gets a lot out of his latest loan spell away from Manchester United.
