Carlisle United midfielder James Berrett is set to sign for Yeovil Town, reports Vital Football.
According to the Western Gazette, Berrett has signed a two-year deal at Huish Park and will become Gary Johnson’s fourth signing of the summer.
The 25-year-old is a free agent as his contract at Carlisle expired at the end of June and the midfielder rejected an offer to stay with the Cumbrians.
Berrett started his career at Huddersfield Town after coming through the academy at the West Yorkshire club, making his debut at 18 coming off the bench in a 1-1 draw with Oldham Athletic in April 2007.
He played 35 times for the Terriers, scoring two goals and left to join Carlisle United in July 2010.
In four years at Brunton Park, the midfielder scored 22 goals in 160 appearances.
Berrett is also capped for the Republic of Ireland at Under-18, 19 and 21 level.
