Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has challenged Bakary Sako to score double figures next season. Jackett
warns wide men the pressure is on them to find their scoring boots.
Kenny Jackett wants his wingers to score on a regular basis as well as creating more goals for the forwards and the midfielders. In pre season so far Sako is the only Wolves winger to score, both coming from the penalty spot.
Bakary Sako is to be key for Wolves next season having scored 13 goals last season which made him joint top scorer at Wolves. Jackett wants a similar return from the flanks in the Championship.
Jackett told the Express and Star “I’m very excited about our wide options, they’re very good.”
“Sako got nine goals in his first year here in the Championship and that’s the target he’s looking to hit”
“My job is to put pressure on the wide men to make sure they produce assists and goals”
