Blackburn Rovers defender Jack O’Connell has joined Rochdale on loan for a second time, reports Club Call.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Spotland and will be with the Dale until January.
O’Connell was ever-present for Rochdale last season. He made 45 appearances in all competitions as Keith Hill’s side won promotion from League Two.
The defender came through the youth ranks at Ewood Park and appeared for the Rovers first-team this season when he started against Scunthorpe United in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
O’Connell has been capped once by the England under-18s and has eight caps for the under-19 team.
