Jack Grealish is seemingly edging closer to a return from injury, and the Villa Park faithful will be hoping that the creative midfielder can return to action at the earliest of opportunities.

But he is seemingly involved with the first-team, that's according to his latest Instagram post.

Villa's talisman has hilariously mocked the fashion choices by team-mate, Jonathan Kodjia in a post on his Instagram story on Friday morning.

Kodjia has struggled with performances on the field this season, and will be keen to challenge in-form striker, Tammy Abraham for a starting spot in Dean Smith's side for the remainder of the season.

The Ivorian has been deployed as a makeshift winger for the majority of this year's campaign, but has found himself as a substitute in recent weeks, which will surely be frustrating for the 29-year-old.

Whilst Grealish has been out of action with a shin injury since early December, and will be keen to make up for lost time when he does return to the first-team picture.

Dean Smith confirmed in a pre-match press conference that Grealish is definitely ruled out of their game against Stoke City this weekend.

This will be a huge blow for Villa supporters, who would have hoped to have had Grealish available for their game against the Potters.

The Verdict:

It's certainly not my cup of tea!

There's bold and then there's that!

I'm definitely not a fan of his choice of style, but Kodjia will be hoping that his football does the talking, after struggling to make a noable contribution to Dean Smith's side this season.
