Leeds United will be looking to gain momentum going into the play-offs, as they prepare to travel to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town this weekend.

The Whites have been challenging for a place in the automatic promotion spots for the duration of the season, but ultimately missed out to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United after two defeats over Easter.

After a hugely controversial 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last time out, Marcelo Bielsa's men will be looking to end a winless run of three league games, as the Whites prepare to face Paul Lambert's Ipswich this weekend.

Techinally, Leeds have the greatest chance of picking up three points this weekend, with Ipswich already relegated to League One after a dismal season.

But, Bielsa's side will still have to be at the top of their game if they are to leave Portman Road with a win, as there will be plenty of Ipswich players looking to prove a point to Lambert ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

Bielsa will have to think carefully about his team selection this weekend - does he run the risk of key players getting injured ahead of the play-offs, or does he give fringe players a chance to impress?

Here, we take a look at the starting line-up that the Argentine should field against the Tractor Boys...

As alluded to before, Bielsa needs think carefully about his team selection against Ipswich - they will want to guarantee third spot so they have an home advantage in the play-offs, but they cannot afford to risk their key players getting injured this weekend.

Plenty of fans will be urging Bielsa to rest Pablo Hernandez, who has been Leeds' standout performer this season, and replacing him could be Jack Clarke who will be looking to replicate his form displayed in the first-half of the season.

Leeds' starting line-up against Coventry in an under-23 clash in midweek raised eyebrows, with the likes of Ryan Edmondson and Jamie Shackleton both being rested.

But Izzy Brown, who has played just nine minutes of football this season, should come in to make only his second appearance of the season this weekend, replacing another key player in Mateusz Klich.

It is important that Leeds get Kemar Roofe back firing on all cylinders this weekend - Patrick Bamford's two-match ban means that the former Oxford forward is likely to be an important player for Bielsa over the next few games.

Tyler Roberts came on for Jack Harrison last time out, and the latter could also be in need of a rest this weekend.

In defence, not too many drastic changes need to be made, although Gaetano Berardi is likely to replace Stuart Dallas who picked up an injury against Villa.
