Leeds United forward Izzy Brown has shared a video on Instagram to mark the anniversary of Huddersfield Town's promotion to the Premier League.

Brown spent the second half of the 2016/17 campaign on loan at the John Smiths stadium and made a big impact as the Terriers upset the odds to beat Reading in the play-off final.

Posting the clip on his Instagram story, it shows the club's post-match celebrations on the pitch after they had lifted the trophy.

Brown scored five goals in 25 appearances for David Wagner's side and also played every minute of their play-off campaign.

It was the sort of form that Leeds United were hopeful he would be able to recreate this season but managed just two league appearances in what was an incredibly injury hit season.

After failing to win promotion automatically the Whites were then dumped out of the play-offs by Derby County at Elland Road after throwing away a 2-0 aggregate advantage.

The verdict

There is no reason that Brown shouldn't be able to reminisce on what was probably the best day of his career so far.

It was that Izzy Brown that Leeds were hoping they would have been taking on loan but his spell was completely riddled with fitness problems.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up next season.
