It's fair to say that Izzy Brown is a player that will be fondly remembered by plenty of Huddersfield Town fans for his services to the club.

The attacking midfielder signed for the Terriers in January 2017 on loan from Premier League giants Chelsea, and certainly played his part in Huddersfield's promotion into the top-flight.

Brown made 21 appearances for David Wagner's side, and chipped in with five goals in his time with the club. He also featured in the play-off final win over Reading at Wembley, which is a game that will live long in the memory of the club's supporters for years to come.

Huddersfield's Instagram account recently posted a throwback to Brown scoring against Wolves on 25th April 2017, as they held their nerve in the race for a top-six finish in the Championship at the time.

Brown was quick to respond to that throwback image, as he revealed that he was missing the club, which is likely to raise a smile amongst the club's supporters.

Brown is now playing his football with Championship strugglers Luton Town, where he has made () appearances in total for the Hatters, as they battle to retain their status as a second tier club this term.

The Verdict:

Huddersfield Town supporters will absolutely love Brown's message.

He was a good player to have available in their squad during the Terriers' memorable promotion-winning season back in the 2016/17 campaign.

I'm surprised they didn't make his loan move a permanent one though, as Brown certainly struck me as a player that was capable of making the step up to the Premier League.

But for now, Brown and Huddersfield Town will both be focusing on their survival bids in the Championship, with the Terriers and the Hatters both struggling in the second tier.
