‘I’ve had enough of him’ – Plenty of Charlton fans weigh in on key selection debate

Charlton fans will no doubt have been left feeling underwhelmed by their side’s sub-par performance at local rivals Millwall on Saturday.

With Lee Bowyer’s men conceding a late winner from Matt Smith to lose the south London derby 2-1 at the New Den.

The Charlton boss set his team up with a three at the back formation, however, this tactical move failed to pay dividends, with the Greenwich based outfit failing to find any real rhythm in attacking areas, whilst also looking shaky at the back.

Much of the blame will be attributed to the poor overall performance that was given by centre back Naby Sarr, who looked extremely uncomfortable in the role of left centre back, with the 26-year-old regularly being caught out of position, whilst also being beaten twice in the air for both of Millwall’s goals.

Should Naby Sarr be dropped from the starting XI?

Here, we take a look at a selection of comments given by Charlton fans on whether the defender should be dropped or not via social media

Alan Fendick: Best left to the professionals who see them in training all week

Liam Baldock: Yes – I’ve had enough of him

Dave Warren: Hate to say it, but yes, however, I’m not the manager and if I was I’m sure we’d be in a far worse position than we are now

Dean James: Should have dropped him after Wembley

Billy Higgins: Yes without a doubt
