Leeds United fans will be encouraged by the latest cryptic Instagram story post sent out by top scorer Kemar Roofe, that shows the 26-year-old in football boots, fuelling speculation that he is well on the road to fitness.

Roofe 26, picked up a knee ligament injury in mid-February and after initial speculation that he may be sidelined for quite some time, it would seem he is recovering well.

So how big a boost is it for Leeds that Roofe seems on the right track?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“It could be massive.

“I’ve been really sceptical about his return, the timescale he set and the hints on social media.

“I thought it was wishful thinking but, if this is accurate, it’s not.

“Leeds will be better for it.”

Jay Taylor

“Was the injury overestimated? He seems to be fast-tracking his return.

“It is a significant boost, providing he doesn’t break down any time soon.

“Leeds having their top scorer back would give them the edge over their automatic promotion rivals.”

Sam Rourke

"It's what Leeds fans will want to see.

"Roofe is a key cog in Marcelo Bielsa's team and they will welcome his return ahead of what is an incredibly crucial few weeks in Leeds' season.

"Bamford has been an adequate replacement for Roofe though, and he'll be looking to maintain his spot in the starting XI."
