Leeds United have suffered a mini-blip with three defeats in their last five outings that has knocked them off the top of the Championship, as they head into the final third of he season.

Observers of Bielsa's methods have suggested previously, that elements of his coaching philosophy, namely operating with a small squad and high intensity training could well have an impact on his squad over the course of an arduous Championship season.

So does Bielsa need to change his approach in the closing stages of the season?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

“All the signs are there that it may need to be altered.

“Much was predicted about the latter stages of the season with player fatigue, injuries and suspensions taking their toll.

“The way Bielsa operates, and the way his side plays is not sustainable for the season, so this crossroads was bound to turn up.

“Deciding to change the approach or not could be the difference in Leeds going up or not.”

Gary Hutchinson

“Not on the field, no.

“Off the field, yes.

“This hard training is tiring his players out, what is the point in that?

“Plus, he has to stop releasing his team two days before. It’s utterly ridiculous.

“I wouldn’t do it on Football Manager!”

Jacob Potter

"Why change a winning system?

"There have rightly been concerns raised by some players and supporters about the intensity of Bielsa’s training methods, but I wouldn’t be changing that.

"That style of play and approach is the main reason as to why Leeds are challenging for the title, and a change could seriously derail their promotion bid this season."
