In the midst of an abysmal run of form which has seen them fall away from the automatic promotion places, Leeds United must begin to turn a corner soon if they are to challenge for promotion this season.

Manager Thomas Christiansen has come under great pressure in recent weeks, with many questioning the Dane for failing to provide a Plan B when things are going against his side.

Christiansen has stuck with the same formation and the same personnel despite his side’s poor run, with frustration beginning to build amongst those ostracised from the squad this season.

Midfielder Mateusz Klich was confirmed by Christiansen to be missing from his squad for the trip to Barnsley tomorrow, despite the Polish international fit and ready to play.

The 27-year-old vented his frustration and disbelief by sharing a GIF on Twitter of actor Ryan Reynolds face palming himself, with the controversy heightened by fellow out of favour man Pawel Cibicki liking the Tweet.

Both players have been completely outcasted from the side, and remain in disbelief that they are not being afforded a chance at the club.

Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay brought Cibicki’s ‘like’ of the Tweet to public attention on Twitter, with fans having their say on the pair’s exile from the side…
