For Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa the last few weeks have been a challenge as he has been without first-choice strikers Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford due to injury.

This has allowed Tyler Roberts to get the nod but also a debut for 17-year-old Jack Clarke who made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Brentford prior to the international break.

But does Clarke have a long-term future at Leeds?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

If Marcelo Bielsa things you are good enough then he surely must have a future.

Jack Clarke made his debut last time out and the Leeds boss would not have done so if he didn’t think he was capable of making a difference.

That bodes well for the 17-year-old and Leeds fans could see more of him this season if he continues to impress his boss.

Gary Hutchinson

Why not?

He’s young and has time to develop.

The next move should be a loan to League One.

See how he gets on there, then make a decision.

George Dagless

It's tough to say.

Clarke is clearly a decent young player but he's only played a handful of minutes so you can't really make a genuine prediction.

Marcelo Bielsa likes using young players, though, so that goes in his favour.

Jacob Potter

The youngster can only get better under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.

After making his debut against Brentford before the international break, Clarke will be hoping to be part of the matchday squad for Leeds’ clash against Blackburn this weekend.

If he is to play more regular football, then Leeds will be confident of the youngster extending his stay at Elland Road.
