Ian Holloway's joyous return to Loftus Road was cut short by a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

The R's sit 15th in the Championship standings, after 6 wins, 5 draws, and 7 defeats, which for a team blessed with such quality and talent, isn't good enough at all.

Nevertheless, there is plenty of time for Holloway to use his managerial experience in the second tier to full use and form a strong promotion push.

With the January transfer window looming, now is the perfect time to get rid of the deadwood, and bring in fresh, new faces who will help galvanise a push for the playoffs.

But, with such a large squad, maybe Holloway needs to look closer to home when it comes to adding fresh, new talent to his starting line-up.

With that being said, here FLW writer George Harbey identifies TWO wonderkids that Ian Holloway must look to take a chance on for QPR...

Brandon Comley

Brandon Comley

Comley is currently out on loan at Grimsby Town, however Ian Holloway should definitely think twice when it comes to sending the midfielder back to Blundell Park when his loan expires in January.

Comley has been influential in the Mariners' push up the League Two table, featuring in every game for Marcus Bignot's men this term.

The competition in the R's midfield is quite high, however the 21-year-old definitely deserves his chance to shine at Loftus Road.

The Canadian has had extremely impressive loan spells at the likes of Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Leyton Orient, and Coventry City in the last couple of years but still hasn't been given the run of games he would have liked for the R's, much to the Loftus Road faithful's dismay.

The winger has made just 9 appearances for the London club, since his arrival from Toronto FC in 2012/13.

Granted a lengthy spell on the sidelines has halted his progress but Holloway should undoubtedly look to use the rapid and skillful 21-year-old in his plans this term.

So...what do you think QPR fans? Would you agree with these two suggestions? Who else would you like to see Holloway introduce to the first team? Leave your suggestions and thoughts in the comments below!
