Derby's new signing Jack Marriott was not included in their opening day win against Reading.

The question for Derby County manager Frank Lampard is whether the striker should be given his debut and replace David Nugent up top, for the televised clash with Leeds United this weekend.

So should Jack Marriott start?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

I don't think so.

I think he still needs to get a bit more match-sharpness and that should come playing with the U23 side.

I don't think he is far away though

Sam Rourke

It's time for him to come in.

The former Peterborough ace is clinical and needs to start getting regular game-time at Derby, so why not start this Saturday?

If given service, he could cause Leeds major damage.

Gary Hutchinson

Yes, Derby might have won their opening game but it wasn't convincing.

Marriott is going to be a big hit there, I'm sure of it. The sooner they get him in the side and firing, the better.

Jay Williams

I think if Derby are chasing the game, Marriott will enter the fold.

He is such a natural finisher and his movement off the ball is likely to give Gaetano Berardi a difficult game.

He is probably not in line to start until he becomes more familiar with his team-mates but we could see him in action for the first time this weekend.
