Charlton Athletic saw their winless run extend to six matches on Tuesday night as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Luton after squandering a first-half lead.

Jonathan Leko had put the Addicks in front after just seven minutes with his neat finish, but Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu then levelled the scores soon later before Izzy Brown struck home the winning goal during the second period.

The result means the injury-ravaged Addicks have dropped to 14th in the Championship after suffering their seventh loss of the season, and they must now target a return to winning ways when they face Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley on Saturday.

Charlton defender Jason Pearce
