Despite everything going so well for Leeds United so far this season, that see's them sitting on top of the Championship table and unbeaten from their eight games played, manager Marcelo Bielsa will be studying the stats as he looks to improve his squad.

One area that requires attention relates to Macedonian winger Ezgjan Alioski who leads the stats for most offsides in the Championship, with 13 offsides in the eight matches he has started.

So despite two goals and two assists for the 26-year-old so far, does the offside issue needs addressing?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

I’m surprised, very surprised.

I suppose it shows a willingness to get into advanced positions, but an offside is a needless giveaway of possession.

Bielsa will want him to work on that aspect of his game.

George Dagless

It's something he needs to fix.

Alioski is perhaps most at risk of coming out of the Leeds attack and so he'll need to be a bit more efficient in this regard.

The likes of Jack Harrison are certainly hunting his place.

Jay Taylor

You can look at it both ways - he is so keen to attack he starts his runs a little too soon, or his positioning is poor.

It could be a mix of both but being offside so many times is going to be a source of frustration, and it shows Leeds aren’t perfect.

Alioski has the pace and the guile to play off the last man, so work on that in training and it will soon be a thing of the past.
