Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will be encouraged by the comments of his striker Kemar Roofe, after the 26-year-old revealed on Radio X, that he could still play a part in Leeds' Championship run-in.

Roofe was injured last week after he suffered a lateral knee ligament strain during the win against Swansea City and though there had been doubts whether he'd play again this campaign, the striker has suggested he could be back for the last six or seven games of the season.

So how big a boost will it be for Leeds if he returns to action before the end of the season?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"It’s some consolation.

"Obviously you never want your best players being ruled out through injury, but this will be a boost to Leeds.

"Roofe will be hoping he can return to the squad ASAP to help fire them to promotion this season."

Gary Hutchinson

“Not really.

“It’s pure conjecture.

“He’s not the medical expert. He doesn’t know how long it will be.

“The only good aspect of this is he’s positive and focused.”

Jay Taylor

“It’s the same state of play as before, eight weeks brings you to the final two games of the season.

“And two months in an eternity in football – so anything can happen.

“The slightest of set-backs can extend that date by a week or two.

“It’s a bold prediction if you ask me.”
