Leeds United went back to the top of the Championship last night, following a comprehensive 3-0 win over struggling Reading, a result that allowed them to leapfrog Norwich City, at least until the Canaries play Hull City tonight.

The Whites move, back to the top of the table was achieved despite top-scorer Kemar Roofe still being sidelined, though following the striker's latest Instagram post, a return may not be too far away.

So how big a boost to Leeds is the imminent return of Roofe?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"It’s promising signs.

"There will have been fears that Roofe wouldn’t be back in time to help aid Leeds’ promotion bid but it’s good to see him making swift progress.

"They need him back as quickly as possible."

Gary Hutchinson

“I’m actually a bit bored of talking about Roofe.

“Is it really a boost?

“They didn’t need him last night and Bamford has done well.

“Just leave him to get fit in his own time.”

Jay Taylor

“It’s pretty obvious it is a boost for Leeds.

“If he Roofe is making progress, then he is on his way back to fitness.

“It goes without saying, really – the club are doing well in his absence, however.”
