Sheffield Wednesday’s season is perhaps over already – despite the chance that the Championship is going to resume and complete a full fixture list in the summer.
The Owls were genuine promotion contenders around the middle of the year but, as 2020 began, form tailed off and they have left themselves with too much to do more than likely.
Indeed, a mid-table finish now seems on the cards for the Owls and few are probably that interested in what happens with the campaign as it is unlikely to really impact them.
Have Sheffield Wednesday done these 15 things in the last 10 years? – Yes or no?
Even so, Owls fans on Twitter have been discussing the current situation that the EFL finds itself in and Owls HQ asked supporters how they felt the campaign should come to an end.
Let’s take a look, then, at what they had to say as to how they feel this most unprecedented situation should be resolved:
How do you honestly think the EFL should complete the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season?#SWFC

Null and Void and concentrate on the global pandemic. Get everything sorted for when football is safe to start again next season WITH fans

It’s over for me. It won’t be the same competition we all started anyway. For me everyone stays where they are and start safely when possible hopefully sept time.

Before the June 30th deadline if it can be done safely – otherwise null & void

Finish it – if prem and germany can do it so can they – at moment pro football probably safest place since they all get 2 tests a week
