Leeds United midfielder, Kalvin Phillips has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with AFC Bournemouth reportedly interested in signing him according to Football Insider.

Phillips was key to Leeds' promotion bid last season, which they ultimately fell short in after a defeat to Derby County in their Play-Off semi-final.

That defeat could prove costly as well, with some of the key members of the Leeds squad being linked with moves away from Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa will surely be doing everything he can to keep the likes of Phillips at the club for as long as possible.

But with previous interest from both Aston Villa and Norwich City (according to the Daily Mail), it seems as though the Argentine faces a real battle to secure Phillips' future with the Yorkshire-based club.

An interesting summer awaits at Elland Road, and it's set to be a potentially season-defining transfer window for the Whites.

But is it inevitable that Phillips will leave Leeds over the summer?

We discuss....

George Harbey:

"I just can't see him leaving Leeds this summer.

"He has such a close affinity with the fans and the club in general, and I think it would mean a lot more to him if he helped Leeds win promotion to the Premier League, rather than sign for a mid-table to-flight team.

"It would take a massive bid for Leeds to sell, as well."

Jacob Potter:

"It's only a matter of time before he departs.

"Phillips is far too good for the Championship in my opinion, and can easily make the step up to the Premier League next season.

"Leeds will be praying for a miracle to occur if Phillips is to remain at Elland Road, as he is destined for bigger and better things, that's for sure."

Chris Gallagher:

"It feels that way.

"Andrea Radrizzani has made it clear that there could be a difficult summer ahead, which means sales are likely.

"Phillips would command a big fee so it would make sense. Plus, the midfielder is good enough to play in the top-flight and he knows he has to play at that level to get near the England squad.

"It's a move that could suit all involved."
