In amongst the many new faces that arrived at the City Ground this summer, it is a player who arrived on a free who is making a huge impact at Nottingham Forest in recent weeks.

25-year-old full-back Jack Robinson was released by QPR in the summer and since arriving at the City Ground has been a regular for Karanka, and has really impressed in recent weeks, even scoring against Leeds on the weekend.

So is Robinson one of the shrewdest signings of the summer?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

It’s one of the bargains of the season.

Robinson was released by QPR at the end of last season and what a mistake they made in letting him go.

He has made 12 appearances in total and netted his first goal of the season in a crucial 1-1 draw with Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday.

If Robinson can maintain this good run of form, then he will be an absolute steal on a free this summer.

George Dagless

I think so.

I was surprised to see him leave QPR in many ways and it seems as though the Reds have done very well to get him.

He looks a solid signing and one that has solved a problem area for the Reds.

Louie Chandler

Definitely.

The full-back has been a rare figure of consistency throughout the season at the City Ground and looks to be one of the signings of the summer, especially paying nothing for him.

George Harbey

Absolutely, 100%.

To get Robinson on a free transfer is unreal business from Karanka.

He looks composed, solid, and a reliable figure at left-back.
