Swansea City manager Graham Potter endured a pretty fruitless transfer window and with the window now closed, his side fell to a 2-o defeat to in-form Bristol City, a result that saw the Swans drop to 13th place in the Championship, six points off the final play-off place.

Events at the Liberty Stadium took another twist at the weekend though, with the news that Huw Jenkins had stepped down as Chairman having been in the post for nearly 17 years and overseen a period of considerable change at the South Wales side.

So what impact will Jenkins' departure have at the Swans? What are your thoughts on this news?

We discuss.....

George Harbey

"It's one big mess at the Liberty Stadium.

"It looked very suspicious on deadline day when one minute James was at Leeds, and the next minute, the deal is off.

"Leeds fans won’t be too happy about this news by any means..."

Jacob Potter

"It’s a right mess at Swansea at the moment.

"I think he had a significant impact in why Daniel James’ move to Leeds didn’t go through in January.

"They need to get things sorted on and off the pitch, otherwise their season could go spiraling out of control."

Gary Hutchinson

“I couldn’t see that coming.

“I suppose he’s taken some stick recently for the way they’ve seemingly been asset stripped.

“They’re still fighting fit though and if he’s gone because of that, it’s sad.”
