The January transfer window has almost come to an end with a highly anticipated deadline day in store for tomorrow.

Bristol City have had a fairly busy month and their transfer business is likely to continue all the way until the 11pm deadline on Tuesday evening.

Lee Johnson has shuffled his pack this January amid an abysmal run of form in the league.

The Robins' losing streak has seen them drop to just one place above the relegation zone and Johnson will be hoping that his new signings gel quickly to avoid a relegation battle.

Three players have arrived this window - Milan Djuric, Bailey Wright and Fabian Giefer - whilst Wes Burns, Richard O'Donnell and Luke Freeman have all departed on permanent deals.

Moreover, Johnson has allowed a number of fringe players to leave on loan.

With Johnson aiming for four new faces before deadline day, here are 2 he should offload to generate funds for those moves.

Joel Ekstrand

Swedish defender Joel Ekstrand has been told he is free to leave the club this January.

The Swedish defender joined after a successful trial period but injuries have held back his progress and Johnson has acknowledged that Bristol City need more reliability in the defensive department.

Lloyd Kelly

Young defender Lloyd Kelly is highly rated at Bristol City but he is yet to make his first team debut.

The 18-year-old would be better served spending some time on loan in League One or League Two to prepare himself for a first team challenge next season at Ashton Gate.
