Paul Heckingbottom realistically has four games left to save his tenure at Leeds.

Villa are the next opponents for Leeds after a 3-1 loss to Preston which had an air of capitulation about if after a promising start.

It doesn't help that the game before that was a 1-1 draw with relegation-threatened Sunderland in which Leeds were fortunate to pick up a point, and they have Pablo Hernandez to thank for that, yet again.

They only have two wins under Heckingbottom which were both at home against Brentford and Bolton.

Therefore, the omens are negative going into this game with Villa who need a win to assure a play-off spot.

Their final run-in after this game is relatively generous to Heckingbottom because they have a Yorkshire derby against Barnsley before playing mid-table sides Norwich and QPR.

Heckingbottom needs wins in some of these matches in order to show some signs of promise to the fans as well as a strong performance against Villa.
