West Bromwich Albion will be hoping to get back to winning ways tonight against Derby, following defeat to Wigan at the weekend that saw them drop to third in the Championship.

Baggies manager Darren Moore will be encouraged by the news that 27-year-old winger Matt Phillips is available following injury that kept him out for a month.

Phillips was in fine form prior to a muscle strain and his manager will be hoping that he can resurrect that early season form, to help get West Brom's promotion push back on track.

So is the return of Phillips good news for the Baggies?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

It’s excellent news for Darren Moore’s side and Phillips we be a welcome boost to their challenge for the Championship title this season.

After their poor showing at Wigan at the weekend, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Phillips come straight back into the starting XI for their game against Derby this week.

Alfie Burns

It’s massive news for the Baggies.

Phillips is a top player at this level and he’s been missed in recent weeks.

His return will help Moore’s side rediscover their best going forward.

Really good news for West Brom and Darren Moore

Tyrone Mears has deputised for Matt Phillips during his absence and has done alright, but he is 35-years-old and does not have the same ability as the winger.

He constantly hugs the touchline and is an outlet at all times for West Brom, and that is something they have missed in recent matches.
