Dean Smith will be hoping to finally put a run of results together after becoming Aston Villa manager at the start of October.
Since then he has managed four matches, winning two and drawing two, pointing to a mix in the quality of the performances in that time.
Both defeats have come on the road and that is something they will want to put right on Saturday when they face Derby County at Pride Park.
But, making Villa Park a fortress can only be a good thing as well and wins against Swansea City and Bolton Wanderers show that it seems to be heading in that direction.
However, the fans may not get to call it Villa Park for much longer as it was revealed that they are considering a stadium rebrand, which would include changing the name of the ground.
It is the sort of move that has caused huge friction between a club and their fanbase in the past and you would perhaps forgive them if they were to feel a tad aggrieved.
But, they all seemed very level headed and open to the idea…
doesn't matter what it says on the side of the stadium it will always be called villa park.

Adidas Stadium or Fortress Villa park both work

Yes if it brings money in. It will still be called Villa Park regardless by fans ????

Can't say I'm overjoyed at the thought of a rebrand but if villa park is kept in the title and it helps the club then that will be ok …utv

Think it’s inevitable really

If it brings money into the club, why not.
