Sheffield United have had an incredible season, achieving automatic promotion to the Premier League just two seasons after being promoted back to the Championship from League One.

Since Christmas, the Blades have lost just one of their Championship games, and went on a run that included seven clean sheets in a row to set up a promotion charge that would see them comfortably achieve second place at the end of the season.

As they prepare for life in the Premier League, manager Chris Wilder will hope to keep the core of his squad together, however some players who have not featured in this promotion campaign are likely to leave Bramall Lane in the summer in the hope of a new challenge.

Here, we look at two of their players who we think are not going to stick around at Bramall Lane over summer.

Do you agree, or is there a player we have missed from our list? Let us know in the comments section below.

Kieran Dowell

While Dowell has done a good job since his January loan, it is hard to see Wilder trying for another loan deal for the Everton-owned midfielder.

Instead, we’d expect to see Dowell back in the Championship, hopefully for him, after a positive summer with the England u21 side.

Richard Stearman

Whilst Stearman wasn't amongst those Wilder initially axed, he might not have a huge role to play heading into the Premier League.

Wilder will surely want defensive reinforcements, and if that's the case, the former Wolves man could be on the way out.
