Tyler Roberts and his Leeds United teammates received positive news last night on the season’s resume, with June 20th earmarked as the date the Championship can resume after a break of over three months.
Leeds are desperate for things to start up again, as they look to end their long wait for a Premier League return and cash in on a table topping position in the Championship’s remaining nine games.
Last night’s emerging news was greeted with a positive reaction from Roberts, who laid out the following message on his personal Twitter account:
As expected, many Leeds fans flooded to reply to the Welsh international, who pre-postponement was starting to really impress from the bench for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
In Leeds’ 4-0 demolition of Hull City, he scored a brace, whilst Roberts also helped Leeds to a victor over Huddersfield Town the week after.
