Huddersfield Town secured their first win of the season, as Danny Cowley's side took all three points in the 1-0 win over fellow struggler's Stoke City last-time out.

Cowley has also received a further boost with the news that attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard is fit again and could be in contention to face Hull City this weekend, as reported in the Evening Express, having missed four matches with a knee injury.

So how big a boost is the return of Pritchard for Huddersfield?

We discuss........

Toby Wilding

"It's great news for Cowley.

"The Terriers have struggled in attack going forward this season, and it is something that you imagine will have to improve if they are to start to pull away from the relegation.

"In Pritchard, they have someone who has the ability and potential to help them do that - as he showed during his time at Norwich - so getting him back involved could help Huddersfield to pose more of a threat going forward.

"Having picked up their first win midweek, and with their squad slowly moving back towards full strength, it does seem as though there may be a few reasons for Huddersfield to be cautiously optimistic right now."

Dean Cooke

"A massive boost. It's a player return that the Terriers supporters should look forward to, especially under a new manager at the club.

"If Cowley can get him to do some of the stuff that he once did at Norwich then he has a hell of a player on his hands, he just has to make sure that he can give him the confidence back that he needs to be a success.

"Cowley has favoured Lewis O'Brien in that position in recent times, so it'll be interesting to see if Pritchard can give him a selection headache and get back to his own ways, or whether he continues his long run of poor performances."

Jacob Potter

"This is a welcome boost for the Terriers.

"They’ve lacked creativity for much of this season and Pritchard could be the man to fire them back up the table and in the right direction in the near future.

"Huddersfield have been crying out for someone to provide the likes of Karlan Grant with the chances they need, and Pritchard is someone that could definitely do just that.

"The game against Hull City is one that they can come away with a positive result from in my opinion, but that could be reliant on Pritchard being at the top of his game.

"The Terriers need their key players to be at their best throughout this year’s campaign, otherwise they could find themselves in a real relegation scrap, so it’s important that Pritchard steps up to the mark as soon as he’s back in the match day squad."
