Bolton’s players are still waiting for their March wages as they prepare for today’s game against Derby County.

The Trotters have endured a very difficult season on the pitch, with Phil Parkinson’s men nine points from safety with just five games to play, making relegation to League One a certainty.

Yet, it’s issues away from the field that have dominated the headlines involving the club, with owner Ken Anderson desperate to sell.

And, the Bolton News have revealed that a ‘a heated meeting between players, coaching staff and PFA chief Richard Jobson produced no definitive answer on when overdue March wages would be sorted’.

As well as that, they claim that Anderson, who is out of the country, is hoping for talks with the PFA to prevent a future embargo that could hinder the club providing a sale goes through.

It’s another concerning update for the crisis club and it’s fair to say the fans are not happy with the situation.

Here’s some of the reaction on twitter…
