With the fall-out from the failure of Leeds United to gain promotion to the Premier League continuing, Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani will have allayed some fans fears, by confirming to talkSPORT that he has no plans to walk away from the club, despite facing another season in the English second tier.

Radrizzani, 44, hinted he is ready to invest big money into the squad when they return to the top flight, which he is confident will be soon and when asked about his long-term future at the club, he added: “I am here," adding “I hope we will get there one day and I’m here until that day because I really want to enjoy the moment with the fans."

So should Whites fans be encouraged that Radrizzani is going nowhere?

"It has to be a good thing, doesn't it?

"After such a disappointing end to the season the last thing they would need is for a key figure like Radrizzani to up sticks and move on.

"He has been rightly questioned at times this season but on the whole he remains a definite good thing for Leeds."

“Continuity is a positive thing for me, so it's good news.

“Radrizzani has done some good work for Leeds since taking the club over and if he can continue doing that, the club will progress.

“However, he needs to spend money this summer or things might start to sour.”

Benjamin Lang

"This can only be good news for Leeds, who need stability at boardroom level.

"It was a masterstroke to bring Bielsa to the club last season, and it is likely the Argentine will only stay if he receives assurances regarding the club's security.

"It is therefore the correct move for Radrizzani to reveal this amid talks over Bielsa's future."
