The striker posted two snaps of Leeds' clash with Manchester United earlier this week, expressing his gratitude at experiencing a brilliant atmosphere despite suffering a disappointing defeat.
Leeds fans have turned out in brilliant numbers to the club's arrival in Perth, leading chairman Andrea Radrizzani to thank supporters on Twitter.
Bamford and his team-mates will hope their great reception continues in Sydney ahead of Saturday's clash with Western Sydney Wanderers, in what will be their final match down under.
This season will be a big year for Bamford, and he will be eager to display exactly what he can bring to Leeds after suffering with injuries last season and only making 15 starts.
He appears to have got over his struggles with his knee and with a full pre-season under his belt he should be raring to go this season.
