The bad news is piling up against Aston Villa at this current time.
Following Saturday’s 1-0 play-off final defeat to Fulham, Villa are facing a difficult summer, with the Birmingham Mail reporting that costs need to be cut at Villa Park.
Another report from the Birmingham Mail has also delivered a disappointing player update, with Callum O’Hare, Villa’s exciting 20-year-old, suffering knee ligament damage.
I understand that Callum O'Hare has suffered knee ligament damage and is out for up to ten weeks. Could miss start of season. Blow for the youngster who will also miss out on another loan move in August now (if #avfc agreed to let him go). https://t.co/uWj0iC9h4y

The youngster will now miss Villa’s entire pre-season schedule and potentially the start of the 2018/19 campaign.
The 20-year-old could’ve also been moved out on-loan this summer, depending on how his first-team opportunities were looking, with this injury setback hindering the chance of that happening.
As expected, the update on O’Hare has received plenty of reaction, with Villa’s supporters disappointed by the youngster’s injury.
Many were also quick to point out that O’Hare would have a first-team opportunity coming his way, given the club’s play-off final failure.
Here is some reaction…
It’s going really well at the moment….

Why would we let him go out on loan next season… We will need him ourselves….

We seem to specialise in producing young lads who can't stay match fit for more than a fortnight at a time

He cannot surely get a loan deal, he will be needed in the first team with the amount of first teamers we are going to lose. #avfc

So we’re probably gonna lose grealish and now our other ideal replacement is injured, great being a villa fan isn’t it. UTV????

If Bruce remains in charge that could see him miss 0 minutes of 1st team action

Won't make too much difference if Bruce stays, as he has no idea how to plan him anyway.
