Leeds United remain hot on the tails of Championship leaders Norwich City, following the weekend victory over QPR, a result that saw Leeds go five points clear of third placed Sheffield United.

With nearly half the season gone Marcelo Bielsa's side show no signing of falling off the pace, despite having to deal with a number of suspensions and injuries to key personnel.

But are Leeds assured of a top six spot?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

It’s no guarantee.

Leeds fans won’t need reminding that they have suffered from their annual slump in form which has seen them miss out on the play-offs in the last two seasons.

But Bielsa has them well drilled this season and I would be stunned to see them miss out on a top six spot.

The only potential issue that could see them miss out, would be if the injury list got even longer at Elland Road.

Alfie Burns

In such a tight division, it’s foolish to say something like that, as things could change very quickly.

It’s looking good right now for the Whites, but you can guarantee the playing squad won’t be getting ahead of themselves after recent season’s collapses.

Gary Hutchinson

Nobody is assured one, even at this stage, but I’d be shocked if they didn’t get it.

Those injuries are a big problem though and if they keep piling up, there’s going to be trouble.

If they get one or two back though, it’s going to be a straightforward sprint to the Premier League.
