Aston Villa sealed an impressive victory on the weekend as they came from behind to beat Ian Holloway's QPR at Loftus Road.

An Albert Adomah brace sealed the comeback victory for the Villans, and they head into tonight's fixture with Chris Coleman's Sunderland full of confidence.

Steve Bruce was of course without the injured Jonathan Kodjia and John Terry on the weekend, yet they still prevailed with the victory.

Have Villa shown they won't miss Terry and Kodjia after the QPR win?

We take a look......

Alfie Burns

It’s far too early to be saying that.

Bruce will have been pleased with how his side managed in the absence on Terry and Kodjia, and as we all know, Villa have some exceptional players at their disposal that should be able to manage.

However, Terry and Kodjia are both fantastic players and key members of Bruce’s squad.

Only time will answer this question, but Villa have started well without the duo.

George Dagless

Perhaps a tad early.

Villa are probably used to dealing without Kodjia and he wasn't on fire even when he played this season so that's not a massive deal.

Terry might be missing in some real crunch games for Villa coming up, though, and so it remains to be seen how they handle that.

Chris Gallagher

I wouldn't go that far yet, but it's some start.

That win will give the entire club a lift as losing the key duo was a real big blow.

The pair will still be missed but Villa have a quality squad and it's time for others to step up - which they did on Saturday.
