Samu Saiz appears to have played his last game for Leeds United, with the midfielder set for a loan move to Getafe.

Leeds’ No.14 has become unsettled in England and will undergo a medical with the La Liga side this weekend, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

He will depart on loan initially with that deal becoming permanent when the transfer window opens next summer.

According to Phil Hay at the YEP, Leeds will pocket between £6-7m for Saiz in the summer of 2019.

So, is that a fair price for the 27-year-old?

We discuss…

Lee Connor

I reckon this is fair enough, how much more are Leeds going to ask for realistically?

It’s a decent sum to invest back into the squad for a player who Marcelo Bielsa fancies.

If they can spend it well, it might turn out to be amazing business really.

Alfie Burns

The way this has been dealt with has been superb so far, with Leeds also managing to negotiate a tidy fee.

It’s a fair price and the club are doubling their money on the player.

Of course, Leeds won’t be able to spend the fee until next summer, which is a slight blow, but it is nothing major.

Chris Gallagher

It's a decent fee.

He's probably worth slightly more in this market but as the player wants to go, you're going to lose power in negotiations.

Now it's down to the club to reinvest that and bring in someone with real quality, which they should be able to do.
