Having managed to find just one win out of his first four league games as QPR boss, Ian Holloway hasn't really enjoyed the start he would have liked at Loftus Road.

The R's sit 18th in the Championship league table, with 6 victories, 5 draws and 9 defeats from 20 league games.

This leaves the London club just 3 points adrift of the relegation zone, which is not very promising at all for a club who were in the Premier League just a couple of years ago.

With the January transfer window looming, now is the perfect time for Ian Holloway to get rid of the deadwood, and bring in fresh, new faces who could ignite a late surge up the league table as we approach the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.

With that being said, here, FLW writer George Harbey identifies TWO players that QPR need to say bye-bye to in the January transfer window...

Conor Washington

Washington arrived at Loftus Road with high hopes, signing for a fee of around £3million after netting 27 times in 82 games for Peterborough.

Since then, however, the 24-year-old has scored just twice in 26 appearances for the R's, after failing to score a single goal in his first season at Loftus Road.

What Rangers need is a prolific, proven goalscorer in the Championship, and need to come to realisation that Washington was a waste of money, and therefore he needs to depart the club in January.

Nasser El Khayati

Another player who arrived at Loftus Road with a high reputation was the Dutchman El Khayati.

The 27-year-old came with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink from Burton Albion in January, having scored 11 times in 41 games for the Brewers, assisting 10 times.

Since then however, the winger has scored just the once in 21 games, and it is evident that El Khayati isn't suited for the Championship environment, and has found himself unpopular amongst the Loftus Road faithful.

So...what do you think QPR fans? Should these two players leave QPR in January? Who else should head for the exit door? Leave your thoughts and suggestions in the comments below!
