Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley is once again in demand, hardly surprising given his achievements with the Imps.

In their three years in charge, they've won three trophies, the National League, the EFL Trophy and League Two. They've been to an FA Cup quarter-final, finished in the League Two play-offs and twice taken Premier League Everton on with dignity and commitment in cup competitions.

It's hardly surprising that they're now being coveted by a host of clubs. It's believed they've turned down Huddersfield Town, been linked with Middlesbrough and West Brom, as well as having been a target for Ipswich Town.

The latest club to covet their services are Sheffield Wednesday and Cowley has denied having spoken to them in an interview after his side played Doncaster last night.

Lincoln fans are getting used to hearing about other clubs wanting their management team and they've responded on Twitter to his angry denials in high numbers.

It seems some are resigned to losing him at some point, but that few are putting much credibility behind the latest round of rumours.
