Nottingham Forest's season ended on a high with three straight wins taking Martin O'Neill's side to a final position of ninth in the Championship, eight points off Derby County in the final play-off place.

Over the summer O'Neill is bound to have a big job on his hands preparing his inflated squad so they are able to mount a sustained promotion challenge next season.

O'Neill's plans will have been encouraged though by comments made by star winger Joe Lolley, who when talking about goals and assists targets for next season, told the Nottingham Post: “To be in double-figures in both is good for me. I have tried to be unselfish, I have tried to set up others. But to also score yourself is important.

“Hopefully I can chip in with more, in the future.”

So, is Lolley's double figures in goals and assists next season a realistic target?

We discuss........

George Brooks

"I think so.

"Lolley has had a very productive season for Nottingham Forest and has been one of the standout players for the Reds in the Championship.

"He has already achieved so much this season, so I don’t see why he cannot improve on that next campaign."

Gary Hutchinson

“Ambitious, but if he stays put and Forest kick on, why not?

“He’s got both in his locker and it’s only one every couple of games.

“I can’t see why it’s a bold claim to be honest.

“If he stays injury free, he could do it.”

Jacob Potter

"It’s certainly achievable.

"Lolley has really impressed me this season, and at times, he’s single-handedly won Forest points on his own this season.

"If he stays at the City Ground for another season, then I would be stunned if he doesn’t reach double figures in goals and assists."
