QPR have enjoyed an impressive start to their Championship campaign, with Mark Warburton's side up to fifth in the table after the weekend victory over Millwall, a result that puts the R's just a point behind leaders Leeds United.

Warburton though, is still looking to strengthen his squad with a move for Exeter City winger Randell Williams still on the cards, as reported on TEAMtalk.

The winger has made a strong start to the season in League Two recording three assists so far, as the Grecians sit at the top of the table.

So would Williams be a good fit at QPR? Is he actually needed?

We discuss........

Ned Holmes

"I think this could be a smart signing for QPR.

"Warburton has already got some exciting young attacking talent at his disposal and Williams looks like he could be another.

"The 22-year-old has hit the ground running at the South West club, providing three assists and helping them climb to the top of the League Two table.

"He’s never played above League One level, so it’s certainly a risk but one that’s worth taking."

Alfie Burns

“I love what Mark Warburton is doing with QPR at the moment and it is built on some brave trust in the club’s youngsters.

“Williams would only add to an exciting crop of players at Loftus Road and give Warburton another edge out wide.

“The 22-year-old has started the season magnificently, but you might want to see him doing this a little bit more consistently before he takes the step into the Championship.

“QPR just need to be careful before they start adding players from League Two – David Wheeler wasn’t that long ago.”

Chris Thorpe

"Given their good relationship with Exeter, having signed David Wheeler from them a few seasons back, I could see QPR being at the front of the queue to nab the wide man.

"He would provide Warburton with another option on the right hand side, which will help to add some depth to their attacks.

"With Williams being so versatile, he should be able to adapt to any formation that Warburton plays his team in, with the R's boss experimenting with a few systems so far this season.

"It would be interesting to see if Williams decides to move to West London, with the player himself having been born in the capital."
