Derby County are one of a host of clubs who could sign Wales attacking midfielder Jonny Williams this summer, according to a report by WalesOnline.

Williams spent the second half of last season with Charlton Athletic in League One and was able to help Lee Bowyer's side win promotion to the Championship, beating Sunderland in the play-off final at Wembley.

This latest report states that Williams has been offered to several Championship clubs, including Derby and West Brom, as well as Premier League newcomers Norwich City.

Derby just missed out on promotion from the Championship last season, but made significant progress under Frank Lampard.

So, would Williams fit in at Derby?

We discuss...

Chris Gallagher

"This would be a smart move.

"The Rams have developed a clear style of play in the past 12 months with a focus on attacking, progressive football.

"That’s exactly what the creative Williams would want and it’s an environment he’d thrive in.

"With several loan players returning to their parent clubs this could work."

George Brooks

"This would be a great signing for Derby - especially on a free transfer.

"Williams is a very good player and would help to replace Mason Mount and Harry Wilson.

"He's a creative player and the attacking football that Frank Lampard has been able to bring to Derby could be perfect for him.

"Williams has got plenty of experience too and he could be a brilliant addition to the squad."

Alfie Burns

"Injuries Williams has suffered from in the past are a concern, but putting those to one side, he'd be a great addition for Derby.

"He clearly has the ability to play in the Championship, and with the Rams embarking on something like a rebuild this summer, Williams might not be a bad option at all.

"The Welshman has the ability to turn the tide of a game and would enjoy the faith Lampard puts in his attacking players."
