Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson is expected to complete a move to Brentford next week in what is one of the most surprising deals of the window.

The Sweden international has shown himself to be a quality Championship defender for the Whites and current boss Marcelo Bielsa stated he was the sides best player last season when speaking in May.

However, reports have emerged suggesting that his relationship with key figures at the Yorkshire club have 'broken down' and a move to the Bees for just £5.5m is in the pipeline.

Whilst some fans may have understood the decision to sell the defender if that is the case, they are not happy with the fee he is going for. That prompted a lot of supporters to criticise owner Andrea Radrizzani and question the ambition he has for the club moving forward.
