Things may have be going brilliantly on the pitch for Leeds United, but in terms of injuries, it just hasn't been their year.

Several injuries to many key players over the course of the season thus far, has threatened to derail their promotion bid - a run consisting of two wins in seven league games the biggest downfall this term.

Yorkshire Evening Post's Phil Hay has recently shared an article that denotes some staggering statistics - Leeds have sustained 19 different injuries to first-team players since the end of July - which equals to a total of 77 games missed through spells on the sidelines.

You'll struggle to find a team over the years who have been as unlucky with injuries as Leeds have been this season, which makes the Whites' current 2nd placed position in the Sky Bet Championship look even more impressive.
