Leeds United's Eunan O'Kane is a transfer target for League One outfit Charlton Athletic, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to continue his revamp of the squad.

The Whites have had a strong start to their campaign, after they beat Stoke last Sunday in what was an impressive display.

Bielsa's side will have undoubtedly seen their odds tumble to be promoted from the Championship, and arguably their opposition in Stoke, may not be classed favourites anymore.

After a very humbling defeat at the hands of Leeds United in their opening game, Stoke City sees their odds to win the EFL Championship lengthen to 13/2. But the Potters still remain the favorites to hoist the trophy according to SportsBettingDime.com, with Leeds and Middlesbrough closing the gap at 10/1 each. Aston Villa and West Brom round out the top five, each possessing 11/1 odds.

With Leeds at 10/1 to win the Championship, it would be worth taking a chance on the Yorkshire outfit, as they looked outstanding on the weekend, and ousting a player like O'Kane would only surely be a positive.

Here's what our writers have said about the latest news on O'Kane...

Jay Taylor

A good solid Championship player who would add that second-tier experience to a young Charlton side.

O'Kane doesn't look like he has much of a future at Leeds so a move would be beneficial for the player.

Charlton need experience and O'Kane has bundles of it.

George Dagless

It's a solid idea.

He might not be at the standard Leeds want but he could still offer a good deal to Charlton.

The Addicks need a new central midfielder with Forster-Caskey out for a long time and so this makes sense.

Jay Williams

At League One level, O'Kane will be a very good footballer.

He is talented on the ball and would be a superb central midfield option for the Addicks.

But he is just not good enough for Leeds at the moment and getting rid is best for all parties.

Gary Hutchinson

There's a lot of Leeds fans might not agree, but I think this would be a great signing for Charlton.

He's every inch a League One midfielder, something holding him back at Elland Road, but would make him an asset at the Valley.
